ACI-LAC Green Airport Recognition

The ACI-LAC Green Airports Recognition aims to promote environmental best practices to minimize aviation’s impact on the environment and to recognize airport members who have outstanding accomplishments in their environmental projects.

This year, the Green Airports Recognition is supported by our World Business Partner (WBP) TAV Technologies, one of the leading one of the leading company in airport IT industry.

ACI-LAC Airport Members can submit their outstanding projects in one of the following categories: Mitigation and adaptation to Climate Change, and Circular Economy (circularity of products and materials – water, waste, among others).

All participating projects that meet the criteria will receive the ACI-LAC Green Airport Recognition. This year ACI-LAC will also honor projects that achieve outstanding performance in each of the categories listed above with a Special Recognition.

By participating in this initiative, airports can share their environmental projects and have the chance to be recognized for their achievements. This initiative is coordinated with the support of the ACI-LAC Environment and Sustainability Committee.
