ACI (Airports Council International) is the international association of airports. We are a non-profit non-profit organization that represents, leads and defends the interests of the airport industry and promotes professional industry, and promotes professional excellence in airport operations and management.
ACI is the official voice of the airport industry to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). In Latin America and the Caribbean, ACI is known as ACI-LAC. Our members are airport operators operators of all sizes, commercial companies that provide services to the industry (World Business Partners) and other industry (World Business Partners) and other industry players such as governmental organizations, national airport associations and governmental organizations, national airport associations and academic institutions.
ACI develops operational, economic, commercial and environmental programs, standards, policies and practices. ACI also provides courses and training programs to raise the industry’s professional standards. We work on a wide range of issues: airport safety; operations and facilitation; business development; airport capacity and slots; environmental management and sustainability; technology implementation and development; air transport liberalization; and customer service, among others.
ACI has more than 340 airports in Latin America-Caribbean and more than 2,000 globally that manage 95% of the world’s air traffic.
