ACI-LAC Green Airport Recognition

The airport industry has developed strategies and programs aiming to reduce the environmental impact on the environment. These efforts have been significant and sustained over time, so much that many of the environmental programs implemented in the airport industry became referents in the transportation sector.

ACI-LAC Green Airport Recognition Airport Professional Award aims to recognize and highlight the outstanding environmental and social performance of airports in Latin American and Caribbean.

ACI-LAC Airport Members that have developed an environmental initiative that wish to share with the entire airport community of the LAC region are invited to participate in this regional initiative.

Participants airports must present their environmental initiative in any of the airport environmental management areas, that could include Waste management, Energy Efficiency, Carbon management. Social responsibility and/or adaptation to climate change.
