Economist with extensive experience in multinational corporations, specializing in Infrastructure Projects and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP). A strategic leader with a strong track record in fostering high-performance, collaborative organizational cultures and driving sustainable development through infrastructure investment. Passionate about airports as economic and social engines that shape the future of the cities they serve.
A key contributor to the evolution of SJO Airport as part of the CCR Group, playing a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency, stakeholder engagement, and long-term infrastructure planning. Currently serving as CEO Costa Rica and Curaçao Airport, I lead the strategic vision and operational transformation of one of the Caribbean\'s most dynamic aviation hubs. I also serve as a Board Member of Quito\'s international airport, contributing to governance, strategic direction, and regional aviation development, and now as part of ASUR (Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste), current role as CEO for Costa Rica and Curaçao Airports.
Prior to this, I led the Infrastructure and Cities Division at Siemens, overseeing projects across Central America and the Caribbean, with a focus on smart cities, mobility, and large-scale infrastructure solutions.
I hold an MSc in Finance from Liverpool University and an MBA from Madrid Business School, complementing my technical expertise with strategic financial acumen. Recognized as an IAP Professional and an AELP Concordia Fellow, I am committed to advancing the intersection of infrastructure, economic growth, and sustainable urban development.
At the core of my leadership philosophy is a deep belief that people are the true engine of success. Every project, every strategy, every decision is built around putting people first because sustainable growth is only possible when human potential is placed at the center of everything we do.
