Born in 1968, Fabrice GRONDIN holds a Master degree from Ecole Des Cadres Paris, in Marketing specialization. He joined Roland-Garros Airport in La Reunion in 1993, as Vice-Director, in charge of Airport Operations. In 2007, he became Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Operations, Safety, Security and Freight. He had to ensure an efficient operating organisation to meet the needs of stakeholders, management of airport activities ensuring safety and security.

In 2011, Fabrice Grondin has joined Roland-Garros Airport Management Board, when the Airport concession was transferred to an airport company, made up of the French State, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of La Reunion and local authorities. For the first time, the airport exceeded the threshold of two million passengers. Its activity has been growing regularly since the end of the 1980s, with the development of competition on the mainland France-Reunion Island route, the main component of the traffic (60%).

Since January 2017, Fabrice is Chief Operating Officer including Technical, Operations, Security and Safety. He is still a member of Roland-Garros Airport Management Board.

He was elected President of ACI Africa, for the 2026-2028 term, at the ACI Africa regional conference held in September 2025 in Lusaka, Zambia, succeeding Emanuel CHAVES.
