Grupo Aeroportuario de la Ciudad de México joins ACI-LAC as a new airport member, consolidating its leadership in the region.
Grupo Aeroportuario de la Ciudad de México (GACM) joins ACI-LAC as a new airport member, consolidating its leadership in the airport industry in Latin America and the Caribbean. This strategic collaboration will strengthen Mexico's air connectivity, boost regional development and promote sustainable practices in airport management.

 Panama, October 18, 2024- Grupo Aeroportuario de la Ciudad de México, S.A. of C.V. (GACM), the Mexican parastatal company responsible for operating a high-level airport network under safety, quality and productivity standards, has announced its incorporation as a new airport member of Airports Council International - Latin America and Caribbean (ACI). -LAC). This strategic partnership reinforces GACM's position as a key airport operator in Latin America and the Caribbean, while seeking to promote the comprehensive development of airport infrastructure in the region.

As part of the Mexican Government, through the Ministry of the Navy (SEMAR), GACM stands out as a leader in the operation of 8 international airports, 2 domestic airports and 5 aerodromes, including Mexico City International Airport (AICM), which concentrates 25.7% of the country's air passenger traffic and is the second with the best connectivity in Latin America. GACM's participation as a new airport member of ACI-LAC will strengthen its mission to offer greater air connectivity for Mexico and the countries in the region.


GACM reaffirms its commitment to the sustainable growth and modernization of its airport network by joining as a new airport member, as this program facilitates collaboration with key players in the airline industry, both public and private, who share best practices and knowledge in the field of airport infrastructure and services. Since its incorporation to SEMAR in 2023, GACM has experienced remarkable growth, consolidating itself as a benchmark in efficient airport management, capable of meeting the challenges of the modern airline industry, by maintaining a constant focus on innovation, service quality and environmental responsibility in all of its air terminals.
