Vice President, Airports as Business — ACI World
Slava Cheglatonyev is Vice President, Airports as Business at Airports Council International (ACI) World, with nearly 20 years of leadership experience across global airport and aviation organizations. He leads ACI World\'s Airports as Businesses Centre of Excellence, overseeing airport economics, airport business, industry intelligence, and infrastructure investment, including ACI\'s flagship economic, traffic, airport business performance, and infrastructure investment studies.
He serves as Secretary of the ACI World Economics Committee (WEsC) and the Airports Non-Aeronautical Revenues and Activities (ANARA) Specialized Group, and represents ACI at key International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) fora, including the ICAO Assembly (Economic Commission), the Worldwide Air Transport Conference (ATConf/7), the Airport Economics Panel (AEP–ANSEP), and the Air Transport Regulation Panel (ATRP).
Prior to joining ACI World, he held senior executive positions, including Chief Commercial Officer at hub and regional airports, and Senior Advisor on Economics at ACI EUROPE. His expertise spans airport economics and regulation, airport business strategy, infrastructure investment and financing, non-aeronautical business development, revenue optimization, and air service development.
He holds a PhD in Economics, two MSc degrees in aviation-related disciplines, among other academic qualifications, and the International Airport Professional (IAP) designation.
