Electric aircraft manufacturer Eve has presented the full-scale prototype of its “flying cab” for the first time, reaching a milestone as the company aims to have the model certified and in service by 2026. Eve, a subsidiary of Embraer, launched the prototype of the electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, known as eVTOL, at an event with investors and customers at the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer's industrial facility in Gavião Peixoto (SP) on July 3.

Guadalajara Airport Inaugurates Its Second Runway

EASA publishes technical data on environmental protection for eVTOLs

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has published the final version of the Environmental Protection Technical Specifications (EPTS) for aircraft capable of vertical takeoff and landing (VCA) following the public consultation phase initiated in December 2023. These EPTS are applicable to tiltrotor VCAs, such as the Lilium Jet. Responses to all comments received during the public consultation are published together with the EPTS.
