Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP) proudly hosted the ACI-LAC Human Resources Committee meeting in Curaçao,
bringing together human resource leaders and airport representatives from across the region.

Airports Council International – Latin America and the Caribbean (ACI-LAC) is the association representing airports
in the region. It provides a strong collaborative platform through its specialized committees, which include, among
others, Environment & Sustainability, Safety, Communications & Marketing, Economics & Commercial, and Human
Resources. As a committed member airport, CUR actively participates in all these committees, contributing to
advancing best practices across the industry. The strong network and relationships built among peers in this sector are
equally important, as they cultivate trust, collaboration, and the exchange of knowledge that ultimately strengthen
the entire aviation community.

Workers are the most important asset of airports. By developing skilled personnel, airports can take on the challenge
of enhancing their growth and development. The ACI-LAC Human Resources Committee provides a platform for
discussion of key issues and the exchange of best practices to improve standards of excellence among airports in the
region.

The timing of this meeting was particularly relevant for Curaçao, as CAP is currently undergoing its largest
recruitment drive to date. The forum’s focus on leading through change, building inclusive practices across
generations, and developing practical strategies for workforce management and training aligned seamlessly with
CAP’s ongoing efforts to attract, train, and retain talent. This exchange of knowledge provided valuable insights that
will support CAP in shaping a resilient and future-ready workforce.

The meeting welcomed participation from a wide range of member airports, including Aeropuerto de Tocumen,
Aeropuerto Ecológico de Galápagos, Aeropuerto Punta Cana, Aeropuertos Uruguay, Aruba Airport Authority, CACSA –
Cuba, CORPAC – Cuenca, Curaçao Airport Partners, ECASA – Cuba, Lima Airport Partners, OLC, OPAIN, Quiport – Quito
Airport, TAGSA – Guayaquil, and Vinci Brasil.

Beyond the committee’s working sessions, CAP proudly showcased Curaçao to all participants. Attendees had the
opportunity to experience the beauty of the “Dushi Island,” immersing themselves in Curaçao’s rich culture, heritage,
cuisine, and warm hospitality. This cultural exchange further strengthened professional ties while highlighting Curaçao
as both a hub of aviation excellence and a vibrant destination.
