The lounge’s operation generates direct employment for seven Guanacaste locals.
Guanacaste Airport, a member of the VINCI Airports network, announces the opening of its new VIP lounge, PURA Lounge. The 354 m² space is designed to provide passengers with greater comfort before their journey.
PURA Lounge, operated directly by Coriport, offers spacious and comfortable areas, premium furniture integrated with green spaces, and views of the airport apron. The lounge also features semi-private rest areas and showers. Passengers can enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, charging stations, and entertainment options such as televisions and ambient music.
Access is available to members of international programs Priority Pass and Lounge Key. Other travelers may also enjoy the facilities and services by purchasing a day pass.
The experience includes a gastronomic offering with breakfast, lunch, and snack options, as well as a self-service station with beverages, coffee, and local liquors.
The design of PURA Lounge reflects the “sense of place” concept, incorporating elements such as plains, mountains, forests, and beaches. Every detail seeks to convey the identity and essence of the region. The PURA Lounge logo is inspired by the choreja of the Guanacaste tree, establishing a direct link with local culture and environment.
The opening of PURA Lounge is part of Guanacaste Airport and VINCI Airports’ commitment to positive mobility and contribution to the province’s economic development. The lounge’s operation generates direct employment for seven Guanacaste locals in areas such as customer service, catering, and cleaning. The investment made by Coriport for this project amounts to USD .4 million.
“PURA Lounge strengthens Guanacaste Airport’s positioning as a modern terminal, focused on providing a high-quality experience for our passengers. We want every person to find in this space an environment that combines comfort, hospitality, and the ‘Pura Vida’ spirit that characterizes our region,” said Renata González, Commercial and Communications Manager of Guanacaste Airport.
