Panama, September 24, 2024 - Airports Council International Latin America and the Caribbean (ACI-LAC) is pleased to inform you that São Paulo Catarina International Executive Airport has just joined our network of member airports.
São Paulo Catarina International Executive Airport, developed and managed by JHSF, was inaugurated in December 2019. Located 35 minutes by car and 14 minutes by helicopter from the capital of São Paulo, the airport has undergone four significant expansions since then, expanding the number of hangars from 2 to 12, totaling more than 36,000 m² of hangars, in addition to more than 56,000 m² of yards.
The runway has a length of 2,470 meters, surpassing nearby airports such as Congonhas, Jundiaí, Sorocaba and Campo de Marte. In addition, the taxiway system was recently certified, with a main taxiway running parallel to the runway, providing greater agility and safety to ground traffic.
São Paulo Catarina International Executive Airport has become a relevant hub for the maintenance of the main manufacturers in the market, having dedicated hangars for Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault and Pilatus aircraft, which reinforces the commitment to provide exclusive services and assistance to our special customers.
“We believe it is a great opportunity for São Paulo Catarina International Executive Airport to join ACI-LAC. The inclusion in a large network of contacts strengthens our actions and vocation to serve with excellence to business aviation customers,”
said Ronie Wiston, General Director of São Paulo Catarina International Executive Airport.
Rafael Echevarne, General Director of ACI-LAC, welcomed the new member and highlighted his alignment with the entity's commitments.
“We celebrate the arrival of another important airport member in Brazil and the expansion of the network in the country, which is the main market in Latin America and the Caribbean. We are confident that the addition of São Paulo Catarina to ACI-LAC will greatly contribute to strengthening our community of airport leaders, promoting the highest standards of quality in the industry.”
With the arrival of São Paulo Catarina International Executive Airport, among ACI-LAC's 93 member airports in the region, 12 are from Brazil and together they operate 60 airports.
